After working as a journalist for more than 20 years, Peter Lilley established OxygenPR in 2002.
Starting his career on local newspapers in North Yorkshire, he was editor of a title at 21 before moving into broadcasting as a reporter and news presenter with Tyneside’s Metro Radio and later for London’s Capital Radio.
Deciding to specialise in the travel industry, he was a reporter and feature writer on Travel Trade Gazette and News Editor of Travel Weekly before turning freelance in 1990 - contributing to a wide range of trade and consumer publications.
Peter is the author of the AA’s “Essential Tunisia” guidebook and is a former Vice-Chairman of the British Guild of Travel Writers.
As a PR consultant he has worked successfully with a diverse range of clients, from small hotels and family-run businesses to government ministers and ambassadors.
